Another fab sunny day in Sydney began with fresh coffee and breakfast chez nous.
Our street, Ruthven St.
We caught the ferry to Manly from Circular Quay and spent the 30 minute crossing practicing our photography skills by snapping the incredible views of the Sydney Opera House, impressive yachts and some really colourful windsurfers.

By the time we disembarked at Manly we were hungry again so brunch was the next item on our agenda! Smashed avocado on toast, banana bread and packed eggs seemed to do the trick so it was down to the beach for some sand and sea.
The water was really choppy and the lifeguard insisted that we only venture out into the sea between the two flags as there were some very strong and therefore hazardous currents. Later on there were also several sightings of bluebottle stingers so we decided to leave the water in search of ice cream . Josh did not order his own as he was convinced that neither child would be able to finish their colossal cone. Needless to say he never got any ice cream!
The ferry ride back provided stunning views of the Harbour Bridge.
After a quick shower and a stop at the organic shop to buy some Reindoor Poo (chocolate reindeer poo) we walked round to Lise and Cahn for Shabbat. We lit our candles etc together with Jacob then Zoe joined us for a totally delicious dinner (Lise, you are the best, thank you!) We enjoyed the late night stroll to our house, although Louis was less than amused by the occasional cockroach crossing our path, and we all fell asleep quickly after a fun, sun-filled day.
